Before a stem reaches the vase, it speaks. A slight curl of a petal, the way leaves tilt toward the window, the small geometry that tells you which bloom is ready and which still wants another day. We spend the first hours of every morning in the studio listening — selecting stems by feel as much as by sight, and quietly rejecting three out of every five for reasons no catalogue can describe.
Floristry, the way we practice it, is closer to editing than to design. The arrangement already exists inside the bouquet; our job is to remove what does not belong.
